I loved staying at the Manary Praia Hotel, I was well received by the staff, without exception. The room and bathroom were clean, that's the first thing I look at in hotels, I like everything clean. I liked my room with a small balcony overlooking the sea, where I could sleep every night listening to the sea waves hitting the beach, it was very relaxing. I liked to wake up early and sit on the balcony to enjoy the sea waves, before going down for breakfast. I ate shredded crab meat at the restaurant for 3 days, it was delicious, there were two types, two different prepared ways, I ordered both. I loved it, it's a shame that when I discovered the food there it was already on my last 3 days of the 7 days I stayed there. I also liked a filet, I don't remember the name, but it was delicious. I tried to find something I didn't like about the hotel to write here, but I couldn't find it. The guys at reception served me well, they were kind to me, helped me carry my purchases, paid attention when I needed some information. The waiters at the restaurant were also very attentive and polite. I had a problem with my reservation, because I travel with benefits, so I only board when there is seats available on the plane, so I couldn't board due to lack of seats, I had to send an email asking if they could postpone my already paid reservation for a week later. They were so kind, so when I arrived at the hotel a week later, I was able to get the same room I had paid for. Anyway, everything went perfectly well, I will definitely return to the hotel when I go to Natal.

This is one of 4 hotels I have stayed at in the Ponta Negra location that I would recommend for North American visitors. It has a great location and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable as compared with cheaper hotels. It is worth a few extra dollars to stay here as you get what you pay for. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The reason it lost a star is because the staff has no authority to correct booking errors and charged me extra for a 2nd adult even though I had booked for 2 adults. The error was caused by booking dot com but the hotel is ultimately responsible for rates so I am holding them accountable.

Don’t book here and definitely don’t pre-pay to stay here. For us, we pre-paid for an ocean view at a premium price and was given a room with no view / a view of a road facing the hotel across from us. The staff don’t care here and also threatened us if we asked any more to get the suite we were promised. All of their pictures they advertise are the best rooms but you will not get them, they only show the best rooms online and then give you a completely different room. Don’t book directly or through a third party website, you will be very disappointed with this hotel. The breakfast is terrible, the fruits are served very warm and they only offer a few cakes and breads. They have some hot selections but they said they were out of the items I wanted. Of the hot selections they do have the cook over cooks everything and doesn’t know how to cook eggs. I ordered over easy and got over hard covered in grease, overall the breakfast was awful. I am very disappointed with this hotel and I most definitely do not recommend it.

Staff was very friendly. Their suggestions were very helpful. Food was very good and even better than the local 5-star restaurants. Views of the beach area were very nice. We always felt safe. The room was very clean and comfortable but there were a few minor issues. One, the locked door adjoining to the next room allowed us to clearly hear the couple talking. Two, the sink faucet was slightly leaking. Three, the shower would partially flood the bathroom floor.

Location. This hotel is all about location. It is on the beach . It is in an old building but it is lovely and clean . The breakfast was enjoyable with lots of fresh fruit . A strange thing was that we never got new shower gel after each day . Even though we stayed there 5 days . Staff in reception were mostly very friendly

This hotel is a very attractive boutique hotel in the city of Natal. Compared to the many large resort-style hotels in Natal, I prefer to stay here. However, I always seem to have some issue when I come here. This time, we checked in to our room (room 217) and you notice the charming canopy bed and the lovely decorations. The room has a small veranda that overlooks the hotel’s swimming pool and the ocean beyond. Then I noticed the mirror: it looked like somebody had sneezed on it, so I went to the front desk and asked that the chambermaid clean the mirror. Simple request (you’d think). We went out to lunch, and when we came back, the mirror was still dirty. On our way out a little later, I asked why the chambermaid hadn’t been up to the room. The gentleman working at the reception told me that she had been up, but she “determined” that it didn’t need to be cleaned—the mirror just had black spots because it was old. I told him I wasn’t talking about the black spots, but rather the spittle that was on it. By the time we’d left, the mirror remained dirty. Since when do the chambermaids make executive decisions about whether to clean something a guest requested? Why couldn't they just clean the mirror? I’ll probably be back because I really like the restaurant in the hotel, but why can’t they seem to get their act together?

Overrated and overpriced small hotel, we found only one receptionist who spoke English. Fake colonial style, beds with canopies that look silly. Breakfast worth of a modest bread & breakfast, really poor.

Great staff and wonderful restaurant. The hotel design is a bit old fashioned for European standards but well maintained and very clean. It's sufficiently small so you quickly feel at home.
